Dr. Surendra Nath Khanna serves as the Chairperson of Adult Cardiac Surgery & Heart - Lung Transplant at Artemis Hospital in Gurugram, India. He is an expert in all forms of adult cardiac surgical procedures. His unwavering commitment is to enhance cardiac surgery in India, making it accessible to the general public. He graduated from King George's Medical College in Lucknow. Following the completion of his MS in General Surgery, he received training in cardiac surgery at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and Christian Medical College in Vellore.

Subsequently, he pursued further training abroad under the guidance of Prof. Ottavio Alfieri, who is internationally recognized for his groundbreaking contributions to heart valve techniques. Dr. Surendra Nath Khanna has been engaged in cardiac surgery for the past 34 years, during which he has performed over 21,000 cardiac surgeries.

He has practiced as a cardiac surgeon in several esteemed hospitals, including San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, Italy, where he trained under Prof. Ottavio Alfieri, who is celebrated for his innovative methods in valve repairs and surgery for severe left ventricular dysfunction.
