Dr. D.K. Jhamb has dedicated over thirty years to clinical and interventional cardiology, amassing exceptional expertise in intricate cardiac procedures. His impressive academic background features degrees from some of India’s leading institutions. Dr. D.K. Jhamb developed a keen interest in this field early on and earned his MBBS degree from MAMC, Delhi University. Following this, he completed his MD at the same university and subsequently pursued a D.M. (Cardiology) at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Prior to his tenure at Artemis Hospitals, he was affiliated with esteemed institutions such as the National Heart Institute and Escorts Heart Institute in Delhi, where he played a pivotal role in establishing cardiac departments in various hospitals. Dr. D.K. Jhamb possesses over 30 years of combined experience and has performed 80,000 interventional procedures. Throughout his three-decade career as an interventional cardiologist, he has conducted approximately 25,000 angioplasties, 50,000 angiographies, and more than 8,000 other interventional heart procedures, including pacemaker implantations.

Before joining Sanar International Hospital in Gurgaon, Dr. Jhamb was associated with Paras Hospital in Gurgaon, Rockland Hospital in Manesar, Escorts Heart Institute, and AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi, India. He is a graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi and completed his postgraduate studies at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi. He also completed his super specialization in cardiology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.
