Brief Profile:

Dr. Vikas Singla is a prominent figure in the medical community and is regarded as one of the most esteemed physicians in the field of Gastroenterology.

In February 2021, Dr. Vikas Singla assumed the role of Director and Head of the Max Centre for Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Endoscopy at Max Hospital, Saket.

After completing his graduation from Sardar Patel Medical College in 2002, Dr. Vikas Singla joined the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, where he worked until 2011. In 2003, he began his post-graduate studies in the internal medicine department under the mentorship of distinguished faculty at the nation’s leading institute, where he honed his medical skills over the subsequent three years.

In 2006, he served as a Causality Medical Officer, effectively managing medical emergencies. The following year, he was selected for a prestigious super specialization program in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at AIIMS. Upon completing his super specialization, he took on the role of Research Officer in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, conducting research on Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, publishing articles in both national and international journals, and presenting lectures at various national conferences. During his time as a Research Officer, he also received training in Endoscopic Ultrasonography, an advanced diagnostic tool for various abdominal conditions.

Dr. Vikas Singla was affiliated with the Department of Gastroenterology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for nearly a decade as a consultant, focusing on liver diseases, pancreatic and biliary disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and advanced endoscopic techniques.
