Brief Profile:

Dr. Amanjeet Singh is Senior Director and Division Head of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Gastrointestinal Oncology and Bariatric Surgery at Medanta. After completing his super-specialization in Surgical Gastroenterology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (he received the prestigious Ravi K Jerath Award for the best DNB Student of the Year), Dr. Amanjeet Singh underwent advanced training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences of India is a scholarship in laparoscopy. colorectal surgery at SMC Korea. In addition, he has trained in advanced laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery in various centers around the world. In addition to being a member of various surgical societies, Dr. Singh is also a reviewer for national magazines. He has published research articles in all major surgical journals and has presented papers and participated in various national and international conferences around the world. His training experience also includes robotics training from IRCAD, Strasbourg (2011), laparoscopic gastric surgery from IRCAD, Taiwan (2012) and AETF Robotic Colorectal Surgery, Japan (2013).

He has an MNAMS, NB Diploma, MS (General Surgery) and MBBS. His surgical expertise lies in all general and advanced laparoscopic procedures related to abdominal, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgeries, robotic abdominal surgeries and perianal surgeries. He is one of the pioneers of hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery and has created his own cost technique for the same technique called Medanta Handport which was presented at the annual conference of the American Association of Colorectal Surgery in Florida, USA, in the past year.
