Brief Profile:

Dr. Sekhon holds the unique honor of being the first Pediatric Urologist trained in the nation and has played a pivotal role in establishing Pediatric Urology as a distinct super-specialty. Having received her training at two of India's premier educational institutions (PGIMER and SGPGIMS), Dr. Sekhon has subsequently worked in leading corporate hospitals in the Delhi NCR region. The hallmark of her clinical practice is her friendly demeanor with children, sharp diagnostic abilities, and an ethical approach to management. With nearly fifteen years of experience in Pediatric Urology, Dr. Sekhon has treated approximately 10,000 cases to date. She specializes in complex genito-urinary reconstructions, including hypospadias and exstrophy-epispadias. Her expertise in minimally invasive (laparoscopic/keyhole) and endoscopic Pediatric Urology surgeries, such as posterior urethral valves and stone removal, is unmatched. She is among the very few surgeons in India skilled in Robotic Pediatric Urology procedures, including pyeloplasty and ureteric reimplantation. Dr. Sekhon collaborates closely with various charitable organizations focused on genito-urinary cancers and disorders of sexual differentiation. She has also established the most advanced facilities for video-urodynamics, biofeedback, and neuromodulation in India. Dr. Sekhon fosters excellent interpersonal relationships with both patients and fellow doctors and is continuously working to advance Pediatric renal transplants and Transitional urology.
