Dr. Padman graduated from the esteemed Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Pondicherry. He holds the title of Diplomate from the National Board of Examinations in Orthopedic Surgery. He spent a decade in the United Kingdom, working across various Orthopedic departments within the University hospitals of Leeds and Sheffield. During this time, he earned his Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) and successfully completed the intercollegiate examination in Trauma and Orthopedics (FRCS Tr & Orth) in 2008. As part of his Orthopedic training in the UK, he engaged in fundamental research examining the biological response to both traditional and innovative polyethylene materials used in arthroplasty, culminating in a Masters in Research from the University of Leeds in 2004. He subsequently completed his fellowship at Sheffield Children's Hospital after being appointed as the National Fellow in Paediatric Orthopedics. Throughout his Fellowship, he gained comprehensive exposure to the diverse fields within Pediatric Orthopedics. Prior to his return to India in June 2009, he served as a Consultant in Pediatric Orthopedics at Sheffield Children's Hospital. With two decades of extensive experience in Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Padman has been affiliated with renowned institutions such as Sheffield Children's Hospital, UK, where he worked as a Consultant in Paediatric Orthopedics & Trauma Surgery; Max Healthcare in New Delhi as a Senior Consultant in Paediatric Orthopedic Surgery; and Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurgaon as a Senior Consultant in Paediatric Orthopedics.
