Dr. Vikram Kumar is recognized as one of the leading Pediatric Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists in New Delhi.With more than 24 years of experience, Dr. Vikram Kumar focuses on pediatric liver transplants.
To this day, he has overseen the care of over 100 pediatric liver transplant patients.His areas of expertise encompass the management of pediatric liver disease, metabolic liver disorders, celiac disease, Wilson's disease, chronic liver conditions, chronic constipation, and abdominal pain.
Additionally, he is proficient in performing diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy in children.Dr. Vikram Kumar earned his MBBS from Pt. B D Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, in 2000, followed by his MD in Pediatrics from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 2006.He received training in biostatistics at Harvard University in the USA and has served as a senior research officer on various international projects.
He has authored over 16 articles in numerous national and international journals and has contributed to multiple book chapters.The doctor has participated as a faculty member at several international conferences focused on pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology.Dr. Kumar is affiliated with the Indian Celiac Society, the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, the Liver Transplant Society of India, and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics National Conference.
