Brief Profile:

Dr. Udgeath has successfully managed over 7500 cases during his eleven-year career. He received formal training in Rheumatic Mitral valve repair from Dr. Taweseeak at the Central Chest Institute in Bangkok and has recently completed training in TAVI. Additionally, he has been affiliated with the Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre in New Delhi. His most recent position was as Senior Consultant in CTVS at Medanta - The Medicity in Gurgaon. Dr. Udgeath Dhir is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), the European Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons (EACTS), and the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (ISMICS). He has contributed to leading journals and authored chapters in textbooks on Cardiac Surgery. Dr. Udgeath Dhir has received the Best Paper Presentation award at the International Coronary Congress. He is skilled in performing a wide range of Adult Cardiac Surgery, with particular interests in Total Arterial Bypass Surgery, Minimally Invasive Valvular, Coronary & Congenital Heart Surgery, Heart Failure Surgery, Ventricular Assist Devices, Cardiac Transplant, and Arrhythmia Surgery.
