Brief Profile:

Dr. Himanshu Champaneri serves as the Clinical Director - Neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery at Marengo Asia Hospitals, Gurugram, where he oversees the Functional, Epilepsy & Endoscopic Neurosurgery (FEENS) services for the Marengo Asia Health Care Hospitals. With over 14 years of experience in the field, he has conducted more than 1500 neurosurgeries. His extensive expertise in functional neurosurgery includes treating patients with Parkinson's Disease, Dystonia, Essential Tremors, Failed Back Syndrome, Metastatic Pain Syndrome, Spastic Cerebral Palsy, Refractory Neuropathic Pain Syndromes, and Peripheral Nerve Palsies. He has performed a diverse range of functional neurosurgeries, including Deep Brain Stimulation, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Phrenic Nerve Stimulation, Stereotactic ablative procedures, Intrathecal Baclofen Pump Implantation, Cervical Rhizotomies, and Peripheral Neurotizations. Furthermore, he specializes in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeries for lumbar and cervical fixations, as well as scoliosis surgery. Dr. Champaneri is among the few neurosurgeons in the Delhi-NCR region who perform peripheral nerve surgeries, such as brachial plexus repair and peripheral nerve schwannomas. He possesses substantial academic and research experience, with numerous publications and book chapters aimed at enhancing the comprehensive services offered in neurosurgery.
