Dr. Sandhu is a multifaceted professional, combining a military background, medical expertise, and administrative experience. He approaches his work with the values of honesty and honour, which were instilled in him during his military service. By integrating his medical knowledge with his administrative skills, he aims to enhance the medical industry's capacity to serve patients and improve their quality of life.

His journey commenced with his graduation from the Armed Forces Medical College in 1986. He then pursued an MD and DNB in Medicine from Pune University, graduating in 1993. His academic journey continued as he completed his DM in Cardiology from PGIMER in 2001.

Due to his distinguished service in the Army Medical Corps, he retired as a Senior Advisor in Cardiology at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. Following his exemplary military career, he returned to his alma mater, where he took on the prestigious role of Associate Professor of Medicine and Cardiology.

He subsequently excelled in interventional cardiology, accumulating 16 years of experience post-DM, serving as the principal director of cardiology at Max Hospital and Paras. In July 2011, he joined Artemis Hospital as Director of Cardiology, later being promoted to Medical Director and Director of Cardiology.

As a medically adept C-suite leader and Board Member, he is well-equipped for roles that emphasize operational improvement and technology integration. This position has enabled him to extend his influence beyond clinical practice, where he advocated for the creation of effective software applications to enhance nursing assessment times, adherence to nursing care plans, and nursing feedback.

His contributions have led to invitations to accompany the President of India on tours, and he has earned a fellowship with the American College of Cardiology, among other prestigious organizations.
