Dr. Abhinandan Mukhopadhyay

Brief Profile:

Dr. Abhinandan completed his education and training at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh. Over the span of more than 8 years, he was actively engaged in clinical care, research, and teaching.

He specializes in addressing various Urologic issues, including kidney stone disease, male sexual dysfunction, infertility, prostate diseases, complex reconstructive procedures for urethral strictures, and surgeries for urological cancers. During his residency at PGI, Chandigarh, he participated in over 300 robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgeries for urological cancers and complex reconstructive procedures.

Upon finishing his superspeciality training, he joined the faculty at GGS Medical College and Hospital in Faridkot, Punjab. He founded the Department of Urology at GGS Medical College and was heavily involved in the education of both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Over a period of two and a half years, he performed more than 600 major urological surgeries.

Additionally, he has served as a consultant urologist at Max Smart Superspeciality Hospital in Delhi and Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram. Dr. Abhinandan is also deeply interested in academic pursuits, having presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences, along with seven published works.
