Brief Profile:

Dr. Dinesh Khullar serves as the Chairman of the Department of Nephrology and Renal Transplant Medicine at Max Super Speciality Hospital, located in Saket, New Delhi. He oversees the development, quality assurance, clinical governance, physician recruitment, credentialing, and academic initiatives related to the DNB and clinical fellowship programs, in addition to research activities.

With over 25 years of extensive experience as a renal transplant physician, he has been involved in more than 5000 successful kidney transplants, including over 1200 conducted at Max Hospital, Saket. His expertise encompasses some of the most complex transplant cases, such as ABO-incompatible transplants, procedures involving highly sensitized recipients, and high-risk transplants with significant comorbidities.

Dr. Khullar has established an online hemodiafiltration unit, marking the first of its kind in North India, aimed at providing advanced and state-of-the-art dialysis services. He has participated in various research initiatives and has acted as the national lead investigator for numerous clinical trials, including the pivotal DAPA-CKD and Transform studies, among others. His scholarly contributions include numerous publications in both national and international journals, and he has also edited the book titled “Lupus Nephritis-Pathogenesis & Current Management.”
