Brief Profile:

Dr. Rituraj Baruah is a seasoned Oculofacial and orbital surgeon. He completed his Post Graduation (M.S) at Gauhati Medical College in 2004. Following his passion for oculoplasty and orbital surgery, he trained under the esteemed Oculoplastic surgeon Dr. A.K. Grover at VISION EYE CENTRE and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi. During this time, he received comprehensive training in various advanced oculoplastic procedures and their applications under Dr. Grover's expert guidance.

Subsequently, he took on the role of senior resident at LADY HARDING MEDICAL COLLEGE in New Delhi. Over the next three years, he not only honed his surgical skills in oculoplasty but also developed his teaching abilities.

Upon completing his residency, he served as a consultant at Vision Eye Centre for seven years, where he performed a wide range of advanced oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeries.

He has held the position of Senior Consultant at Artemis Hospital in Gurugram and has also worked as a visiting consultant for oculoplasty at various hospitals in Delhi and other states. He is skilled in performing numerous cataract and refractive surgeries and has received training in facial aesthetics and facial trauma in Singapore. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous CMEs, conferences, and workshops both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Baruah has delivered many presentations, including video presentations, at both state and national conferences and has contributed chapters to various textbooks.

He has served as guest faculty at the annual conference of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society, the annual conference of the Oculoplastic Society of India, and the Asia Pacific Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Japan.
