Dr. Dodul Mondal is recognized as one of the leading and dynamic clinical oncologists and radiation oncologists in India, holding an esteemed international reputation. He possesses extensive experience in Proton Beam Therapy, having worked at one of the largest university hospitals in the United States. Proton Beam Therapy is regarded as the most accurate form of radiation currently available globally. Currently, he serves as the Director and Clinical Administrator of Radiation Oncology at Max Institute of Cancer Care, located in Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, Delhi. Dr. Mondal has accumulated significant experience at nearly all major high-volume cancer institutes in India, including Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) in Mumbai, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, and Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow. He pursued further training in the USA as a fellow in Precision Radiation Oncology and Proton Beam Therapy at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rutgers University. Additionally, he has served as a visiting scholar at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. He is recognized as one of the best oncologists in the Delhi NCR region.

Dr. Mondal primarily focuses on cancer diagnosis, treatment, screening, and early detection, as well as genetic screening and cancer prevention. He administers treatment to patients using high-energy precision radiation. His expertise encompasses Stereotactic Radio Surgery (SRS), Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (SRT), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Intensity Modulated Radio Therapy (IMRT), Rapid Arc, VMAT, and Tomotherapy, among others. Furthermore, he is highly proficient in brachytherapy, including interstitial brachytherapy for various types of cancer.

Dr. Mondal, a medical student at Nilratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, was renowned for his academic achievements and consistently ranked among the top students at his institution. He received numerous awards and honors, including a gold medal in recognition of his accomplishments. He completed his specialty training in Radiation Oncology at Medical College Hospital, Kolkata, which is historically known as Calcutta Medical College, the oldest medical college in Asia, boasting a legacy in radiation oncology that spans over a century. Additionally, Dr. Mondal was one of the top performers in the final exit examination of the university.

As a leading oncologist in Delhi, he was granted honorary membership in the National Academy of Medical Sciences, an accolade presented by the National Board of Examinations of India.
