Dr. V K Jain serves as the Senior Director of Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery at Max Hospitals in Delhi and NCR. Academics He earned his MBBS from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow in 1974 and pursued his MCh in Neurosurgery at the esteemed National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bangalore. Additionally, Dr. Jain completed a Fellowship in Micro-neurosurgery at Fujita Health University in Nagoya, Japan. Dr. V K Jain has accumulated extensive professional experience over the years, holding various significant positions in hospitals worldwide. This experience has not only enhanced his expertise but also provided him with essential exposure in the field. With over 30 years of experience in Neurosurgery, he has worked at notable hospitals in India, including NIMHANS Bangalore and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. He has also served as a visiting professor at several esteemed hospitals internationally, which has further refined his skills in medicine and Neurosurgery. Furthermore, he has mentored numerous students on their theses and dissertations. Dr. V K Jain as President of the Neurological Society (India) In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. V K Jain has held administrative positions at SGPGIMS in Lucknow, where he was the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery. He also oversaw Hospital Administration and chaired the Campus Development Committee. Dr. V K Jain is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Postgraduate Medicine in Mumbai, as well as the Official Journal of the Neurological Society of India. He has participated in numerous conferences, workshops, and seminars, and has been invited as a faculty member to various conventions both domestically and internationally. He frequently chairs scientific sessions and delivers lectures globally.
