Medical College, AMU, Aligarh, a significant career influence emerged during his tenure as a senior resident in Neuroradiology at AIIMS from 1993 to 1995, which led him to pursue the expanding subspecialty of Neuroradiology in 1995. He subsequently cultivated a keen interest in Interventional Neuroradiology and undertook clinical attachments at Oxford and Newcastle in England between 1999 and 2001.
