About Doctor
Dr. V.P. Singh, a Consultant Neurosurgeon in India, completed his early education at St. Xavier’s School in Delhi. He earned his MBBS degree from the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, finishing his internship in 1982. Subsequently, he enrolled in a direct five-year Neurosurgery program at AIIMS, culminating in the award of his M.Ch. Neurosurgery degree in 1987. In 1989, he obtained the Diplomate of the National Board in Neurosurgery from the National Board of Examinations. Following this, he took on the role of Lecturer in Neurosurgery at King George’s Medical College (KGMC) in Lucknow. To enhance his expertise, he traveled to the United Kingdom, where he specialized in cerebrovascular surgery at Newcastle upon Tyne and radiosurgery at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. Returning to India in December 1993, he joined AIIMS as a faculty member, eventually advancing to the position of Additional Professor and Unit Head of Neurosurgery.
