Dr. Satya Pal Kataria is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Medical Oncology at Medanta, Gurugram. With more than 27 years of experience in several reputed state medical institutions, Dr. Kataria is an expert in the field of medical oncology. Dr. Kataria completed MBBS and MD (General Medicine) from JIPMER, Puducherry. He pursued his senior residency and super-specialty training in medical oncology at AIIMS, New Delhi. During his 27 years of service at VMMC Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, Dr. Kataria rose from senior resident to head of the medical oncology department before joining the Medanta family. He has published various publications, articles and chapters in prestigious Indian and international journals (32).
