He is a Sugita Fellow from Nagoya University, Japan for microneuro-surgical training. Dr. Deepu Banerji Fortis has worked in some prestigious institute like SGPGIMS Lucknow and NIMHNANS Bangalore. With his expertise, he has pioneered to establish a neurosurgery centre under the auspices of FIENS (Foundation in International Education in International Surgery) at the National Neurosciences Centre, Kolkata. The area of interest and proficiency of Dr. Deepu Banerji Mumbai includes Skull Base Surgery, Brain Tumours, Pituitary & Perisellar Pathology, Vascular Surgery, Spinal Surgery and Instrumentation.
