Dr. Azhar Perwaiz holds a PhD in Gastrointestinal Surgery (DNB) from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi (2006-2009), MSc in Surgery (JNMCH, Aligarh (2001-2004) and Doctor of Medicine (MBBS) from JNMCH, (1994- ), 1999). His expertise lies in robotic and minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery and advanced 3D laparoscopy, procedures such as video-assisted thoracoscopic esophagectomy, hiatal hernia surgery, cardiac achalasia surgery (colon myotomy), colon well, etc. Conducted surgical skill improvement programs at national and international level and as a reviewer in various international journals.
