He completed his undergraduate studies at JIPMER (Pondicherry), obtained his MD in Internal Medicine from AIIMS (New Delhi), and pursued a DM in Cardiology from SCTIMST (Trivandrum). Following this, he undertook a Fellowship in Complex Coronary and Structural Heart Disease at GOKI, Budapest (Hungary), where he spent approximately three years.
